Starting Question
Why do half the S&P 500 companies mention AI constantly in their earnings calls while only a tiny fraction of U.S. businesses actually use it? Went looking for actual numbers. What I found was a ten-fold gap between talk and action, and the gap itself turned out to be more revealing than either side of it.
